Congratulations to the DHS Choir students and Mrs. Sepulvado! All five choirs received a “1” exemptary rating today at the MSHSAA State Choir Contest.

Due to inclement weather, the tennis match and softball game scheduled for today have been postponed.

Congratulations to the DHS Varsity Scholar Bowl team on winning 3rd place at the Bell City Tournament. Ben Rybolt won 2nd place for individual top scorers. Great job!!!

HS Baseball Update The HS Baseball games scheduled for tomorrow will now be played at Dexter. 11am-Dexter vs Malden 1pm-Clearwater vs Malden 3pm-Dexter vs Clearwater Good luck to all players and coaches!

Athletic Update Our winter sports athletes(wrestling, basketball, dance and cheer) will be recognized this evening in the high school auditorium beginning at 6:30pm.

Wrestling Update Our wrestling team will travel to the Jackson JV Tournament and the Ste. Genevieve Duals tomorrow. Have a great weekend!

District Volleyball Our volleyball team will face Notre Dame tonight for the Class 3 District 1 Championship. The game will be played in the BEC beginning at 6:00pm. Go Bearcats!!

District Volleyball The semifinal round of the Class 3 District 1 Volleyball tournament is tonight in the Bearcat Event Center. Dexter will take on Kennett beginning at 6pm. Come on out and support our players and coaches! Go Bearcats!

Athletic Update We were notified by Malden this morning that they will not be able to play football this Friday. At this point, we will not play on Friday. We plan to honor our seniors(band members and fall athletes) at the district game on October 29. The game will be played at Dexter. More details to come next week. Thank you.

A rear-door school bus evacuation drill will be held on Tuesday, October 19 and Wednesday, October 20 in the south parking lot of the Bearcat Event Center. All students who ride a Dexter R-XI school bus will participate in the emergency drill.

Basketball Update Our Lady Bearcats will take on Oran at 1:30 tomorrow. Our varsity boys will take on Charleston following the girls game. Both contests will be varsity games.

The Dexter-Cape Central girls basketball game scheduled for tonight has been cancelled. All tickets that were purchased will be credited back to the cardholder.

Boys District Wrestling Update Boys District Wrestling begins this Saturday at Park Hills. First match begins at 10am. Admission: Admission price is set by MSHSAA. Boys Basketball Update The JV/V Boys Basketball game tonight against Bell City will begin at 5:30, instead of the original start time of 6:00.

SCAA Boys Basketball Tournament begins on Monday.
